LaoMa's Black Bamboo Pavilion, 70 Hearne Road, Pittsboro:
From Chapel Hill: south about 12 miles on 15-501 toward Pittsboro. After crossing
the Haw River (quarter-mile long bridge), take first left (Bynum Rd).
First right off Bynum Rd. is Hearne. Lao Ma's Black Bamboo Pavilion is
the first house on right at 70 Hearne Rd.
From Raleigh or South: take Exit 383 on
Pittsboro Rt. 64 bypass,
proceed North, Rt. 15/501 toward Chapel Hill 1.6 mi., take right on Bynum
Rd., next right on Hearne Rd. Lao Ma's Black Bamboo Pavilion is the
first house on right at 70 Hearne Rd.

From downtown: Airport Rd. North;
right at light on Weaver Dairy Rd; six-tenths mile, right on Timberlyne; 7th house on left.
From I-40: Exit 266, go half a mile south
on 86, left at light onto Weaver Dairy Rd, & see above.

The Community Church, Chapel Hill:
From east:
15-501 bypass round Chapel Hill to Pittsboro exit. Turn
right at the light at top of ramp. Turn at first right, just before
Merritt’s Store, onto Purefoy Road. Road curves left and goes uphill.
Church is the next to last driveway on the left.
From west: 54 bypass, take the 15-501 south (Pittsboro) exit; turn left at the light at the top of the ramp, then see above.
From Chapel Hill: go south from the center of town on Columbia St. turn right on Cameron Ave, then first left at light onto Pittsboro Street. Go through light at McCauley, then take right fork when road divides, which becomes Columbia south again. At first light turn left onto Mason Farm Road. Go to southside of UNC Hospital parking decks and turn right at stop sign (continuation of Mason Farm Rd). Turn right at next stop sign onto Purefoy Road (first through-road on right). Church is #106, second driveway on the right.

Chapel Hill/Carrboro Tae Kwon Do:
From downtown Chapel Hill: go west on Franklin St from the center of
town, to the third light, where Franklin St angles to the right into
Carrboro. Go straight at that light, between Al's Garage and the
carwash, and onto Brewer Ln. Building is on your right.

Camp New Hope:
From 15-501 and points east, get back on I-40 going west, and get off at
exit 266 (one exit west of the
15-501 interchange.) Turn right and go north 3 miles on NC Highway 86.
The entrance to Camp New Hope will be on your left. Go in and follow
the camp road (which becomes dirt) past a fence and a little information
kiosk on your left, until you see a large Camp New Hope sign. The
office will be on your right. Park in marked spaces to your left.
"FLEMING" building, brown with blue trim, is up a slight hill to the
left of the road. |

International Martial Arts Academy, Raleigh
From points South of Raleigh:
Take US 1 / US 64 to I-440. Take the inner loop (going West and North, ie, clockwise) of I-440
until you reach the Glenwood Ave / Highway 70 exit (exit to the right only). At the bottom of the
exit ramp turn left, staying towards the right hand lanes. Crabtree Valley Mall will be on your left.
Turn right onto Creedmoor Rd / NC 50. Just before the stop light there will be a divided right turn
lane merging from Glennwood Ave to Creedmoor Rd. Once on Creedmoor, proceed to the 5th stoplight,
which will be Stonehenge Dr. There will be a Burger King on the Right and Stonehenge Shopping Center
is behind it. Turn right at the Burger King and then left into the shopping center and park on the
near side of the shopping center. IMAA is the leftmost suite, next door to a nail salon, the ABC
store and Crowley's of Stonehenge.
From Durham:
From Durham, take I-40, US 70 or other suitable route to reach I-540. Take I-540 North and East
(clockwise) until you reach the Creedmoor Rd / NC 50 exit. Exit to the right going South on
Creedmoor. Continuing South, you will pass a large shopping center on your right. The very
next shopping center on your left will be the Stonehenge Shopping center. Pass the Outback
Steakhouse and Starbucks and when you reach the Burger King, turn left onto Stonehenge Dr and
left again into the shopping center. Park on the side of the shopping center and IMAA is the
leftmost suite.
From points North and East of Raleigh:
Take I-540 West and South (outer loop) until you reach
Creedmoor / NC 50. Exit going South on Creedmoor, then follow directions as above.

UNC Center for Dramatic Arts:
From RTP, Raleigh, Cary and points East:
Take Interstate 40 West to EXIT 273-A. The exit ramp loops onto NC Highway 54,
headed for Chapel Hill. After about three miles, you will pass under a four-lane
bridge and begin to climb a steep hill. At the top of the hill is a traffic light at
Country Club Road. Across the road to your right is a stone wall that reads “University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill”; the street sign is Carolina blue. Turn right at this light
onto Country Club Road. The Center for Dramatic Art is the first building on the left.
From Durham:
From Southern Durham, take NC Highway 54 West to Chapel Hill. Highway 54 crosses over Interstate 40.
About three miles past I-40, you will pass under a four-lane bridge and begin to climb a steep hill.
At the top of the hill is a traffic light at Country Club Road. Across the road to your right is a
stone wall that reads “University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill”; the street sign
is Carolina blue. Turn right at this light onto Country Club Road. The Center for Dramatic Art is the
first building on the left.
From Carrboro:
Take the 54/15-501 Bypass east to Chapel Hill. Just past the traffic light at Manning Drive,
look for the exit for NC Highway 54 (on the right). Do not take the first exit, which is for Highway
54 East to Raleigh; instead, take the second exit ramp (just over the bridge). This is South Road.
Follow your lane up a steep hill; at the top of the hill is a traffic light at Country Club Road.
Across the road to your right is a stone wall that reads “University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill”; the street sign is Carolina blue. Turn right at this
light onto Country Club Road. The Center for Dramatic Art is the first building on the left.
