Mickey Jo Sorrell has been studying Taijiquan in the Magic Tortoise School since 1991, beginning with the Wu/Hao style and continuing with San Shou, Qigong, and Chen among other offerings. Mickey began teaching Wu/Hao style in Hillsborough and Mebane in 1996, and completed the Magic Tortoise Teacher Training Program in 2000. She was a frequent visitor and worker bee at Master Jou’s Tai Chi Farm. Mickey is also a NC Certified Environmental Educator with a Masters in Science Education, an astronomy educator, a grandmother, gardener, and biker. |
