2007 Chinese New Year's Potluck

Saturday, February 17
6:00-8:30 pm
at the Durham Center for Senior Life
406 Rigsbee (behind—north—of McDonalds on the downtown loop)
$2 donation, children 12 & under free.  Demonstrations, door prizes, and other festive surprises!  Fun for all ages!

We will honor students who have earned sashes during the past year, and present red, yellow, & silver sash certificates.

Bring friends, family, and a potluck dish to share.

COMING from Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Greensboro, and points W & SW of Durham: Take NC-147 South (the Durham Freeway) to the W. Chapel Hill St. exit (exit 13). Turn left at the top of the ramp and go to the 2nd light (N. Duke). Turn left onto N. Duke, cross RR tracks and go through 1st light (W. Main) and 2nd light (W. Morgan). Pass Fernway on your right and turn right at the next street (W. Corporation). You will pass the old Durham Bulls ballpark on your left.
After the ballpark pass Roney on your right, then Foster. Turn right at the third intersection (Rigsbee). On Rigsbee, take the second left at Tire King (Hunt St.) The Center will be on your right. Turn right into the upper parking lot and come in the main entrance: we will be downstairs. (Note: parking is also available on the surrounding streets.)

RETURNING to Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Greensboro, and points W & SW of Durham: Turn left out of the parking lot onto Hunt, and go left on Rigsbee. Turn right at the first light onto W. Morgan, which is one way. Go through the 1st light (Morris) and the 2nd light (W. Main). Then veer right under the railroad tracks on W. Chapel Hill St. Go through 1st light (W. Pettigrew), 2nd light (Duke). Just past the 3rd light (Gregson) turn right on entrance ramp to NC-147 North (the Durham Freeway).
